Round 100. It is a fantastic accomplishment to see us enter the triple digits of this wild ride we call the VeBetterDAO. A massive milestone.
Therefore, this week I decided to take a little bit of a detour from the more usual wider spread of dApps to instead celebrate dApps with major milestones achieved themselves in recent weeks.
To ensure a fair and stable analysis, all growth and security metrics are calculated as a 4-round rolling total (approx. 8 weeks). Growth indicators (▲/▼) represent the change between the current window and the previous overlapping window (a 1-round shift, e.g., Rounds 94-97 vs. 93-96). This methodology filters out biweekly volatility to highlight sustained ecosystem trends.
Reheat’s Allocation & Notes

ST3PR
Some sort of counter for steps and Health Connect (Android) or Apple Health (iOS) is all you need now. The native apps pull steps straight from your phone, so there is no more syncing data and not seeing them in ST3PR anymore because Withings never received the data. Good riddance!
With it comes voting multipliers, currently higher-than-average rewards, and much simpler onboarding. The Discord FAQ is updated, docs are updated, and support seems active in the Discord to help out."
I would look into more options to boost rewards for users without requiring specific community NFTs now that there is more control over steps submitted, as the current offering can be slightly difficult to "sell" to new users (figuratively)."

ScoopUp
While I am not the biggest fan of non-relevant NFT projects being used to boost rewards, I do appreciate the possibility of bridging users between dApps that use the same NFTs (like Corgis boosting both ST3PR and now ScoopUp). And with a lot of other possible multipliers to get, users have the choice to opt in.
Image proofs are now public as well. Good to see."

BigBottle
The UI/UX looks better and seems to work well, with the introduction of GM NFT multipliers. Welcome to see.
However, the community feel is still limited. They have posted some on X, but other than that, they are largely silent. No forum, Discord, or Telegram presence makes it hard to track how "alive" it is. They do allow direct messages on X, however, and the founder has been good at responding to my questions and feedback before and up to the V2 launch.
I allocated less to Bigbottle compared to the other dApps this week because, other than the recent V2 upgrade, Bigbottle has been largely stale, with no activity or life at all. There is no community or visible development.
V2 was a nice change of pace, but it is still primarily a UI/UX change, with no visible fundamental changes. We need to see it continue to develop and not go back to the previous stale state, or I will have trouble voting for them again.
Note: I did hear about and verify a significant farming situation related to the wallet 0x7e5abb955ccacd9d2c686f6153bf3756bb327177: tens of thousands of proofs from single-use accounts are sending to this address with some sort of automation. This is a very serious issue, and I have informed the founder about it. No resolution yet. Unfortunately, I had already cast my votes this week before seeing it. Had I known, I would not have voted on them until I saw it resolved.
Rewards have stopped now (May 28th 2026, 21.43 UTC), but so far ~21K accounts have claimed rewards and sent to the above wallet."

Re-Use
Their use case has always interested me on both a personal and environmental level. Reducing waste by reusing things is one of the best ways to limit your environmental impact. They serve a purpose that no other dApp solves right now.
Welcome back, Hershel, and great work ScoopUp team for helping them revive it.
Since the dApp is so new, we have very limited data on how it will work. But prior to blacklisting, the previous version of the dApp had solid metrics overall, so I am sure it will continue. A more detailed look will follow in later rounds as we have more data to parse."

Closing thoughts
Before we move onto ecosystem stats, I wanted to circle back on some freshness metrics from last week where we took a deeper look at the new freshness metric: Round 99 Report - Freshness is here
I won’t dig deep into that this week, but here’s an overview of current stats (as of 28th of May 2026, 21.00 UTC):

Votes from 14.9K unique wallets.
-
3.7K wallets with 3X freshness, ~166M VOT3, ~24.7% of total voter count.
-
613 wallets with 2X freshness, ~7.8M VOT3, ~4% of total voter count.
-
10.6K wallets with 1X freshness, ~55M VOT3, ~71% total voter count.
Looking at raw VOT3 power instead:

Roughly the same stats but in reverse. Out of total VOT3, almost ~72% of it was cast for dApps with 3X freshness. The large majority of unique wallets do not track freshness, but the large majority of VOT3s used does.

Defensive Gap Analysis (Last 4 Rounds)
Measures dApp protections. Rewards distributed to accounts AFTER they were officially flagged as bots. This highlights where an app ignores ecosystem signals, continuing to reward bad actors already identified by others.
Methodology Note: To ensure fairness, we only count rewards distributed AFTER the account was officially signaled. If an app rewards a flagged account, it is considered a leak. Learn more about Bot Signaling

Bot Signaling & Fraud Prevention (28-Day Activity)
Measures active defense. Apps using their SIGNALER_ROLE to flag suspicious addresses (bots/scammers) to the VeBetter ecosystem. These are the apps doing the “hard work” to protect the ecosystem for everyone else. “Writes” are new signals created, while “Resets” are removals of prior signals (often used to revert accidental/collateral signals).
For more information on how to integrate these checks, see the VeBetterDAO Bot Signaling Docs.
